WHAT IS HYPNOSIS?
​ Hypnosis is a state of focused attention, intense absorption and heightened imagery, often accompanied by deep physical relaxation. Light hypnotic states occur frequently in our everyday lives - not only during relaxation and meditation, but also when reading a good book, watching TV, listening to music, or exercising.
When we enter into the absorbed state of hypnosis, we can use our thoughts and experiences in ways not usually available to us. With the help of a trained professional, we can make needed changes in our thoughts, feelings and behaviors. The state of hypnosis allows changes to intentionally be made “automatically”, changes that we could not make so easily with our conscious mind.

I take a holistic approach that includes mind, body and spirit. Together, we will take a look at the reasons behind your problem or habit, discuss the best ways to motivate change and work together on a plan for wellness coaching and hypnosis. This will bring about sustainable changes for a lifetime of healthy habits. We will spend the first 30 minutes of your appointments in vital discussion of your issues and progress, and the remainder of the session in hypnosis.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?
I strongly urge you to commit to at least six sessions. The first four are spaced about a week apart and then session five and six are approximately two weeks apart. You will receive, read and sign a Client Bill of Rights before or during your first session.
You will spend a short time each day doing homework. Repetition is the key, and this daily practice enables you to progress more quickly.
